I've got a passion for cookbooks and I'd like to share some of my favorites.

Vegan Brunch:
The omlettes in this book made the purchase worthwhile. Everything else is gravy. And there's gravy too! And pancakes and scones and many other breakfast and comfort food concoctions.
The Bread Baker's Apprentice:
I started baking bread with this book. It's got a hundred pages of instruction and another two hundred in recipes. Its clear, thorough, and highly instructive, truly an amazing book. Many of the breads are naturally vegan and I've had success with the typical vegan substitutes.
Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World:
This is Kristen's favorite cookbook of all time. She's made a good many of the recipes with nothing but successes. Her cupcakes are an anticipated favorite at her office potlucks and parties. She's made gorgeous concoctions you hate to bite into and helped my ten year old go to town on down, dirty & delicious recipes.
The Food of India: A Journey for Food Lovers
This book is beautiful. I've had it for years and never tire of perusing its pages for images of india and its food. It's hard not to come away with inspiration. This is one of the two books that really got me into Indian cuisine. It's not vegan, but there's plenty ov veggie and easy to veganize options.
From Curries to Kebabs: Recipes from the Indian Spice Trail
This is the other book that got me rolling on Indian cuisine. I've had it for years and it's enjoyable to read. It's a book I gravitate toward when I'm looking for inspiration. I don't always walk away with the idea's I'm looking for, but the the unexpected is fun as well. Again, it's not vegan, but there's pelnty of veggie or easy to veganize recipes
